The Collective Hair and Beauty is a Sustainable Salon and has been since November 2018. We are absolutely loving this change to our salon and so are our clients.
For us this means Sustainable Salons rescues up to 95% of our salon resources from landfill and finds repurposing solutions that benefit our planet, all while supporting the community. All this means for you is a $2 green fee per visit to us! Our excess chemicals build roads, your hair helps clean up oil spills, and our plastic is reused and made into various products such as outdoor furniture. Once our tools reach the end of their life they are broken down and all valuable parts will be repurposed. Each full head of foils will provide a quarter of a meal to a disadvantaged person!
